Your name and phone number, in case call back is necessary.

Division/horse’s name. I will draw for you. If you have more than one horse in a division, the second horse will run as close to last or first in the division as possible (depending upon the draw) to allow you time to get your second horse ready. I will try to accommodate similar scenarios should you have a horse in a preceding or following division.

SPONSOR SUPPORT CONTEST

BBRS is conducting a “Sponsor Support Contest” for 2008. The idea behind the contest is two-fold. First, we want members to shop at BBRS’s sponsors as often as possible. Secondly, by keeping records of the sales receipts turned in at the end of the contest, the Sponsor Director will have collected valuable data to share with BBRS sponsors in 2009 concerning dollars spent at their businesses by BBRS members. This should encourage continued and future contributions from those sponsors in 2009.

Contest Rules:

  • Begins: January 1, 2008
  • Ends: September 7, 2008.
  • Members must save their sales receipts from the sponsors they patronize.
  • Receipts (or copies of the receipts) are to be turned in to Kristin Sweet by the contest deadline.
  • The member with the most dollars spent receives a beautiful BBRS embroidered jacket at the awards ceremony.

This should be a fun contest!

BBRS encourages members to solicit new sponsors by asking the businesses they shop at to contribute to the BBRS awards program. The contribution may be as little as $25.00. This way, the member may use those dollars toward the prize. For instance, if you purchase a lot of fuel from a specific place, ask them to be a BBRS sponsor. Ask your doctor, dentist, veterinarian, insurance company, bank, feed store, salon, boutique, horsebreeder, horseshoer, Avon representative, (you get the idea) to support your interest (BBRS) just as you support them!

A list of contacted and confirmed 2008 sponsors will be given to members and updated on the web site as new sponsors commit so their businesses aren’t “pestered”!

The BBRS encourages members to mention their appreciation to the sponsors for their support of BBRS when patronizing their businesses. A simple, “Thank you for supporting the Billings Barrel Racing Series. I’m a member and I appreciate your sponsorship.”
